Posted on March 30, 2011 by Staff

Culbreth Middle School is one of the top five semifinalists in the Whole Grains category of the Recipes of Healthy Kids Competition.

Culbreth’s stir-fried green rice, eggs and ham recipe has been posted on the competition’s website for public voting, which will take place through May 15 and will determine the Popular Choice Award winner. To view the recipe and vote, visit recipesforkidschallenge.com/submissions

Competition judges will visit Culbreth to meet the Recipe Competition team and taste the recipe, which will be prepared as part of the school’s lunch that day. The winning school will receive $1,000.
