Mama Dip to host class

Mama Dip will lead a free “Spring into Health” cooking class with Heather Miranda, Piedmont Health nutritionist, on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at St. Joseph C.M.E. Church.

The class, hosted by St. Joseph C.M.E. Church, United with the Northside Community Now Health Committee and Piedmont Health Services, is an effort to help address the health needs of the Northside community. Mama Dip will teach participants how to make a main dish, side dish and dessert, while Miranda will highlight healthy alternatives to traditional ingredients and their nutritional values.

Child care will be provided. Registration is required. To register, call 537-7485 or email browng@piedmonthealth.org
