Chapel Hill High School and McDougle Middle School students placed in the State Technology Student Association Competition held April 3-5 in Greensboro.
CHHS students earned first place in the On-Demand Video Challenge. First-place winners are Joel Anil, Chris Chiesa, Nikita Ermoshkine, David Eron, Anna Geer, Manoj Paladugu, Caleb Roenigk and Axel Sanchez-Aguirre.
Ermoshkine, Paladugu and Roenigk also won second place in the System Control Technology Challenge. In addition, Ermoshkine earned third-place honors in the CAD 3D Engineering Challenge. The team of Ermoshkine, Geer and Roenigk finished third in the Manufacturing Prototype Challenge.
Kris Chellani and Daniel Margolis of McDougle Middle earned first place in the Techno Talk Challenge. Bryanna Chazotte of McDougle Middle finished second in the Communication Challenge.
