Posted on June 2, 2011June 2, 2011 by Staff

Gourmet meat store The Meat House has opened a branch in Chapel Hill at 1508 E. Franklin St. The firm says it aims to fill a niche as a neighborhood butcher that sells meats, marinades, prepared food, produce and other groceries.
The company was founded in New Hampshire in 2003 and has grown to 26 locations.

A real gem of a store. There is an abundance of gourmet foods, a Boar’s Head Deli with the lowest prices in town and the Marinated Meat House Steak Tips are to absolutely die for. If you have not tried this store you’ll have to see it to believe it. The staff is friendly, helpful and walked my groceries to my car for me. I was blown away! Thank you for coming to Chapel Hill.
