Posted on June 8, 2011June 8, 2011 by Staff

The Orange County Main Library has begun loaning Kindle e-readers. The Kindles are loaded with fiction and nonfiction bestsellers and other popular titles.

Library Kindles will be available to Orange County residents age 18 and over who have a current library card in good standing. There are five Kindles in the collection and they will check out for three weeks. Patrons are also able to place hold requests for Kindles.

To check out a Kindle, visit the information desk on the second floor of the Main Library and be sure to bring your library card and current photo ID. For more information, call Information Services at 245-2536 or visit www.co.orange.nc.us/library/kindle.asp
