OWASA has issued a report indicating that it surpassed federal and state standards for drinking-water quality in 2010.Â
According to the report, OWASA tested its water some 45,000 times in 2010 for more than 150 contaminants; only 13 were present at detectable levels and all were below limits set by the EPA.
Testing results are reported in the utility’s annual “Water Quality Report Card,†which is being mailed to OWASA customers, and can be found at owasa.org
