Posted on August 4, 2011 by Staff

Blount
Lydriquez Jamel Blount was arrested by Carrboro police on Wednesday and charged with multiple counts of felony breaking and entering and larceny, and is suspected of being involved in 14 residential break-ins in Carrboro and Chapel Hill and on the UNC campus.
Blount, 22, of 404 Jones Ferry Road, Apt. D-18, was stopped at a traffic checkpoint on June 24 and police discovered two outstanding felony warrants from Durham and Beaufort counties for pawning property. He was charged with four counts of felony breaking and entering and felony larceny. Stolen property recovered from his residence linked him to the local break-ins, and additional charges are expected.
