New traffic signal on Homestead

Posted on August 4, 2011 by Staff

Construction crews are installing a new traffic signal at the intersection of Homestead Road and Weaver Dairy Road Extension; it’s expected to be in operation by Aug. 15.
One lane may be closed between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for several days, but traffic flow will not change significantly. The N.C. Department of Transportation and the Town of Chapel Hill approved the construction, which will cost $60,000.
