Posted on August 4, 2011August 4, 2011 by Staff

UNC police are investigating a breaking-and-entering and larceny in the Student and Academic Services Building North.
The break-in occurred in the student judicial system office, which houses the Honor Court, and was discovered Monday at 8 a.m. Sensitive confidential records for 31 students were taken, and university officials are contacting these students to inform them of the theft.
The university’s Department of Public Safety seeks assistance in identifying a suspect or suspects, urging anyone with information related to this investigation to contact UNC Police Investigator Ross Barbee at 962-0564 or CrimeStoppers at 942-7515. All callers may remain anonymous.
