On Monday, UNC released its response to the NCAA notice of allegations in regards to the investigation of the football program.
The document says that the university will impose a number of punishments on itself, including vacating its wins from the 2008 and 2009 seasons, a $50,000 fine and putting the program on two years probation.
Representatives from the university are going to Indianapolis on Oct. 28 to appear before the NCAA Committee on Infractions to discuss the possibility of further consequences. View the university’s response online at uncnews.unc.edu/content/view/4773/68/
