CHCCS to hold Walk for Education

Posted on September 28, 2011 by Staff

The 15th Annual Walk for Education will be held 2 p.m. Saturday. The walk will begin at McCorkle Place on the UNC campus and end at Lincoln Center, where a carnival will be held.
Though there is no fee to participate in this event, the carnival will include booths with food, games and other activities for purchase. The proceeds will benefit the more than 50 school groups operating the booths.
Shuttle buses will be available to take walkers to and from the event. Buses will run from McDougle Middle School and East Chapel Hill High School to McCorkle Place from 12:30-1:45 p.m. The buses will return to the schools from Lincoln Center throughout the afternoon.
