LETTER: Carrboro Branch Library open to the community

Posted on October 6, 2011 by Staff

We would like to remind the community that even though the Chapel Hill Public Library is closed until Oct. 22, both local branches of the Orange County Public Library – the Carrboro Branch Library at McDougle School and the Carrboro Cybrary in the Century Center – are open to the public. On arrival, patrons will have to register for an Orange County Library card, but that is a simple operation. The hours of the Carrboro Branch Library are: Monday through Thursday, 3:30-8:00 p.m.; closed Friday; Saturday, 10 a.m.-2:00 p.m.; and Sunday, 1-5 p.m. The hours of the Carrboro Cybrary are: Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.; and closed Sunday. Everyone is welcome, and for Orange County residents there is no charge to become a member of the Orange County Library.

President, Friends of the Carrboro Branch Library
