Maria Teresita Veroli from Argentina and Emily Bivins from Carrboro Elementary School have been awarded fellowships from the U.S. Department of State to participate in the Educational Seminar: 2011-2012 Argentina Administrator Exchange Program.
Veroli, one of 16 educators who have been selected from Argentina to participate, will be hosted by Bivins at Carrboro Elementary from Oct. 15-Nov. 3. Bivins will travel to Argentina for three weeks in the summer of 2012 for the reciprocal component of the exchange program.
The program is a short-term, mutual exchange opportunity for U.S. and Argentina school principals.
