Frank Porter Graham Elementary School held its Diversity Night last week. One of every five students at FPG speaks English as a second language, and nearly half of those students are refugees from war-torn Burma. In addition to celebrating the 40 nationalities represented at the school, the night marked the occasion of the school’s first School of Distinction ranking in five years.
