LETTER: Vote Foushee for alderman

Posted on October 27, 2011 by Staff

It is my immense pleasure to write in support of my dear friend and colleague, Braxton Foushee. Braxton is currently serving as an assistant scoutmaster for Troop 411 of Union Baptist Church in Durham. As his scoutmaster, I must say that Braxton’s honesty, loyalty and leadership impress me very much. It is from this vantage point that I am able to judge his character.
Braxton has been a mainstay in our troop for more than four years. With much enthusiasm, he quickly moved from committee advisor to a more active role as an assistant scoutmaster. He has demonstrated an incredible initiative and a strong dedication to our scouts that is both inspiring and motivating. Our troop would not have been successful without him.
Anyone who knows Braxton knows that he is a joyful and hardworking individual. He makes himself available to our scouts. He also works hard to build relationships with the parents of the scouts. He strives for excellence in all that he does. Because of his dedication, our troop has learned to work hard and set achievable goals.
I recommend Braxton Foushee with absolute confidence for the Carrboro Board of Aldermen. As his scoutmaster and friend, I know he will work hard for the citizens of this town.
