Police arrested three suspects last week after a local business owner reported a customer trying to sell suspected stolen goods. Police responded to the call and arrested Timothy James Burke, 23, of 107 Bristol Drive, Chapel Hill; John William Bolton, 22, of 106 Hunter Hill Place, Chapel Hill; and Christina Michelle Koepke, 21, of 106 Hunter Hill Place, Chapel Hill.
Burke and Bolton were both charged with multiple counts of breaking and entering, larceny, multiple counts of possession of stolen goods and counts of obtaining property by false pretense. Burke was also charged with one count of felony aiding and abetting financial card forgery, while Bolton was charged with one count of felony financial card forgery. Koepke was charged with five counts of possession of stolen goods, two counts of identity theft, two counts of felony breaking and entering and two counts of felony larceny.
All three suspects have been linked to break-ins at homes in both Carrboro and Chapel Hill and all three have previous criminal records. Koepke was on probation at the time of her arrest and is being held under a $10,000 bond, while Burke is being held under an $80,000 bond and Bolton is being held under a $25,000 bond, all at the Orange County Jail.
