LETTER: Support Coleman

Posted on November 3, 2011 by Staff

I’ve been impressed with Alderman Dan Coleman’s service to the Town of
Carrboro. He’s a progressive leader who understands business. He works hard to find ways for the town to assist businesses in these tough economic times. As a board liaison to the Town of Carrboro Economic Sustainability Committee, he listens and then acts.
Dan is constantly learning and searching for ways to improve the quality of life for citizens of Carrboro. Whether it be fighting for the rights of citizens on Weaver Street lawn or working for smart growth downtown.
In our new economy, we must have leaders who understand how to balance the concerns for the environment and business. One does not have to care about only one. To do this we must be creative and try new things. Dan has the experience and intelligence to do this. A vote for Dan Coleman is a vote for a healthy economic future for Carrboro.
