Chapel Hill Police are looking for three suspects in connection with a break-in and shooting that happened on Tuesday.
Officers responded to a call around 6 p.m. about a shooting and break-in at 104 Jackie Robinson St. and upon arriving at the scene found the victim in his home with a single gunshot wound to his leg. The victim said he came home and found three men inside his apartment. The suspects fled the scene and fired one shot in the direction of the victim, which struck him in the leg. He was taken to UNC Hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
The three suspects have been identified as tall, black males wearing dark clothing. One suspect has been described as having dreadlocks and was wearing a burgundy coat.
