The University United Methodist Church will present a special telling of the Christmas story on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in the church’s sanctuary, at 150 E. Franklin St. in Chapel Hill.
More than 100 fourth- and fifth-grade children will perform the story, playing the roles of Mary, Joseph, the innkeeper, the three wise persons, angels, stars, villagers, shepherds and narrators. They will lead the congregation in the singing of Christmas carols throughout the pageant.
