Students from all three CHCCS high schools placed in last week’s German Day competition at Wake Forest University. More than 500 students from across North Carolina took part in the event.
Winners from Carrboro High were: Chad Lynn, first place in photography; Marie Samek, second place in art; Jacob Warshauer, honorable mention in poster design; and the team of Nathan Andress, Nick Clemens, Jake Samuels, Camila Portocarrero, Marshall Lynn, Simon Beery, Will Pierson and Jacob Warshauer, honorable mention in the level 1 and 2 skit contest.
