Help Clean Jordan Lake

Posted on March 15, 2012March 14, 2012 by Staff

Clean Jordan Lake seeks volunteers to participate in the 22nd Annual Haw River Assembly’s Clean-Up-A-Thon on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Approximately 70 volunteers participated in last year’s efforts, removing 200 bags of trash and 80 tires. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers will be involved in this year’s cleanup.

Volunteers will be assigned different shoreline sections and are suggested to wear shoes, rugged wear and to bring rain gear if needed. Volunteers register at the Robeson Creek Boat Ramp off Hanks Chapel Road.
