The Carrboro High School women’s lacrosse team took on powerhouse Ravenscroft in their season opener on Monday, with Ravenscroft defeating the Jags, 17-5. Three of Carrboro’s top players were out due to injury, and to add to the adversity the Jaguars faced, two additional players were injured during the game. The team will take on Riverside in Durham on Friday.
