On Monday Chatham County will host a public information session on oil and gas exploration in North Carolina.
Staff from the N.C. Department of Environment and Natural Resources will be at the meeting to receive comments and explain recommendations in the state’s draft report that studies the issue of oil and gas exploration.
The meeting will be held at The Barn at Fearrington Village at 100 Village Way in Pittsboro from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
