CHCCS students and parents are invited to celebrate Europe Day on May 9 at Smith Middle School. Events will begin at 4 p.m. with Euro Mania Jeopardy in the auditorium, as well as European Union jewelry creation, European games and language/exchange program education.
At 5 p.m. in the cafeteria European food booths will open up with free food, as well as pizza for sale. At 5:30 join in the Walk for Unity carrying a banner with the EU model (United in Diversity). The end of the evening will feature an EU birthday cake and a presentation about the EU, as well as stories from World War II veteran and French Legion of Honor recipient Robert Patton.
