Four high school students from Chapel Hill- Carrboro City Schools placed among the top finishers at the 10th-annual N.C. Japanese Language Speech Contest held at N.C. State University on Saturday.
Students who placed from Chapel Hill High were Amelia Allore, who finished second in Level 1; Nell Ovitt, who finished first in Level III; and Hanna Davison, who finished first in Level IV. Mackenzie Anderson from Carrboro High finished second in Level II.
