Voices of Action

Posted on May 17, 2012 by Staff

A free event exploring civic engagement and social-justice issues will be held this Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Chapel Hill Public Library’s Program Space in University Mall.
“Voices of Action: Translating Words into a Movement” is organized by the Chapel Hill Public Library and the Town of Chapel Hill Justice in Action Committee. The event is an interactive workshop and discussion to consider questions such as “What makes you want to act?” and “How can your voice be powerful?”
The event will be facilitated by the Sacrificial Poets, a locally based youth poetry organization.
