Animal Services open house

Posted on May 31, 2012 by Staff

Orange County Animal Services will host its third annual open house this Saturday from noon to 4 p.m.

The event will feature tours of the facility, videos of spay/neuter surgeries, canine demonstrations, free food, scavenger hunts and face painting. CLAWS Inc. will feature select birds of prey for public viewing. The Pet Overpopulation Patrol Mobile Surgical Unit and several other animal organizations will also be on site.

This will also serve as the kick-off to Cat Adoption Month, which will feature adoption specials for select cats and kittens.

The open house will be held at the Animal Services Center at 1601 Eubanks Road in Chapel Hill. Full event details can be found at www.co.orange.nc.us/animalservices/events.asp
