Race and health talks

In collaboration with the 18th National Health Equity Research webcast, Camara P. Jones of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and one of the nation’s foremost experts on the topic of race and other social determinants of health will be giving two talks this Sunday at the United Church of Chapel Hill. At 10 a.m., Jones will give a lecture titled “A Gardener’s Tale: Three Levels of Racism”; and at 3:30, “Racism, Health and Well-being in the US.” Both are free.
