Mental health volunteers

Posted on July 26, 2012 by Staff

Chatham County’s commissioners will appoint three people to a mental health advisory board that will serve Chatham, Orange and Person counties.

The Orange-Person-Chatham Community Operations Center is a part of Cardinal Innovations Healthcare Solutions, a regional mental health authority that supports 15 North Carolina counties.

The advisory board appointments will include a county commissioner, someone who receives public mental health services or who has a family member who receives those services and an interested citizen.

Committee applications are available at bit.ly/pOvBjs and must be submitted by Aug. 3.
