BRMA receives $250k

Posted on August 30, 2012 by Staff

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Blue Ribbon Mentor-Advocate (BRMA) program has received a $250,000 grant from Oak Foundation, an international organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. This is Oak Foundation’s second contribution to BRMA.

BRMA plans to use the grant to operate tutorials and provide academic assistance to students who face struggles in school. The funding will also allow the program to expand and hire a new staff member.
