After broadcasting on 1360 AM for more than 60 years, WCHL has added a new channel and is now broadcasting on 97.9 FM.
By switching to an FM frequency, WCHL will be able to broadcast on a stronger signal with greater sound quality.
To celebrate the move, WCHL will be hosting Chapel Hill’s first food-truck rodeo at the VilCom Center on Weaver Dairy Road today (Thursday) from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
