Posted on September 6, 2012 by Staff

The Institute for Museum and Library Services has awarded a $25,000 Sparks! Ignition Grant to the N.C. Botanical Garden’s Healing and Hope Through Science (HHTS) program.

HHTS plans to collaborate with N.C. State University to create a garden on wheels for pediatric patients at UNC Hospital.

HHTS received an additional grant of $1,200 in August from The Monday Life. The Oak Foundation and UNC Volunteer Special Gifts Fund are also major contributors to HHTS.
