Land & Table Brief: Owasa workshop

To help customers learn more about water conservation using the principles and practices of sustainable landscaping, OWASA is sponsoring a series of public workshops in October. Mark S. Danieley, horticulture extension agent, NCSU Cooperative Extension Service, Orange County, will lead the workshops.

Build Your Own Rain Barrel: October 11 2:30-4 p.m. or 6-7:30 p.m., at Whole Foods in Chapel Hill..

Sustainable Landscaping (Soils/Plants): October 18 10-11:30 a.m. or 7-8:30 p.m.

Sustainable Landscaping (Water): October 23 10-11:30 a.m. or 7-8:30 p.m.

Sustainable Landscaping (Management): October 30 10-11:30 a.m. or 7-8:30 p.m.

The workshops will be in the Community Room on the lower floor of the OWASA Administration Building, 400 Jones Ferry Road, Carrboro.
