Special thanks to Jock Lauterer for last week’s focus on “the little village named ‘Shangri-La.’†Can’t believe it was more than three decades ago that I first caught sight of it and was so lucky to meet the creator, Henry Warren. He was indeed passionate about that little village. Jock’s highlight last week is so timely; I have had occasion to drive by that location several times this summer and was wondering how it could be brought to public attention. So, many thanks for doing just that and demonstrating how engaging are the back roads of our state.
