At their Nov. 15 meeting, the Carrboro Board of Aldermen will hold a public hearing about the proposed Shelton Station project.
Shelton Station is a proposed two-building mixed-use development at 500 N. Greensboro St. with 120 residential units. In order for the project to be approved, the board must first approve a change to the town zoning ordinance that would allow for greater residential density in the project.
The board voted 6-1 at their Sept. 27 meeting to pursue a draft of the zoning changes needed to allow increased residential density.
