The 7th annual Clydefest takes place Saturday, April 26 at the Bynum Ball Park. Clydefest is a festival sponsored by ChathamArts and the Village of Bynum and includes live music and fun for kids. The festival is held to honor Clyde Jones, a famous self-taught folk artist making his home in Bynum. The event includes a raffle of works by Jones. Musical performers include Tommy Edwards & Friends, The Milagro Saints, Breadfoot and Shaun Pugliese. There will be a puppet parade, games, storytelling, facepainting and food.
The ball park is about five miles north of Pittsboro off 15-501. At the Haw River Bridge, turn onto Durham-Eubanks Road, left on Bynum Road, right on Bynum Hill Road and the park is on the left. Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for kids, with a discount for ChathamArts members. For more information, go to www.chathamarts.org.

You might have mentioned that Ubi the Clown will be there, twisting balloons and being hilarious. You might have mentioned that Angular Momentum will be there with hoop dancing and hoops for children of all ages. But then, you might not have. So you did not. They will be there, nonetheless.
