Celebrate cycling

May is Bike Month in Carrboro, with May 14-18 designated Bike to Work Week. Several free events will be held in conjunction.

A Carrboro Bike Breakfast will be held next Tuesday from 7 to 10 a.m. in the parking lot at East Main and Roberson streets, across from Armadillo Grill. The event will include free bike check-ups, giveaways, cycling information and a raffle, and coffee from Open Eye Café, biscuits from Neal’s Deli and other free breakfast food will be provided.

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Bike Ride will be held next Friday; meet at the Wallace Parking Deck in Chapel Hill at 5:30 p.m. For more information, contact Len Cone at mcone@townofchapelhill.org
