Posted on May 17, 2012 by Staff

The Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce’s Partnership for a Sustainable Community will hold its sixth-annual Community Bocce Tournament, presented by Piedmont Health, next Thursday from 3:30 to 8:30 p.m. at The Farm, located at 1 Alice Ingram Circle in Chapel Hill.
Fifty teams will battle to be declared the 2012 Community Bocce Champions. Each team will compete in a five-game qualifying round and the top eight teams will compete for the title in a single-elimination tournament.
Registration for a team of two is $180, $120 for chamber members. All proceeds will benefit the Partnership for a Sustainable Community, the chamber’s charitable community and economic-development partner.
