Input sought on smoking rule

Posted on October 4, 2012 by Staff

The Orange County Board of Health is seeking input from those who live and work in Orange County about the proposed smoke-free rule.
The public can provide input through an online survey accessed at surveymonkey.com/s/OCSFPP; by calling a comment line at (919) 245-2480; by emailing comments to SFPP@OrangeCountyNC.gov; by writing to the Orange County Health Department, c/o Smoke-Free Public Places, 300 W. Tryon St., Hillsborough NC 27278; or by attending a public hearing on Oct. 24 at 137 W. Margaret Lane in Hillsborough.
If the board of health adopts the rule after the public hearing, it will then be sent to the Orange County Board of Commissioners for consideration.
