The Animal Protection Society of Orange County will host the third annual Walk for Animal Protection on Nov. 1 at Southern Village.
The event will feature activities for the entire family, including a two-mile fun walk, games, face-painting, a raffle, music and more. Dogs are invited to compete in several contests as well. Proceeds from the walk benefit APS, which operates an adoption center, supports low-cost spay/neuter programs and features a dog training center and a dog park.
The event will be held rain or shine. Dogs should be on leashes. For more information, visit www.animalprotectionsociety.org. Pre-registration is now open.
