Race in N.C. film forum changes venue

ChathamArts’ Film Forum on Race Issues in North Carolina (RINC) will now convene at the Chatham County Courthouse in Pittsboro on March 21 and 22. Saturday films (beginning at 2:30 p.m.) are “Change Comes Knocking: The Story of the NC Fund” by Rebecca Cerese and Dr. Steven Channing; “FBI-KKK” by Michael Frierson; and “Family Name” by Macky Alston, winner of Sundance Film Festival’s Freedom of Expression award. Sunday’s film, “We Shall Not Be Moved-The Story of the Tillery Resettlement Community” by Gary Grant, Chris Potter and Charles Thompson, will be shown at 2 p.m., preceded by gospel music at the General Store Café.
