The Chapel Hill Police Department seeks three men, including two N.C. Central University football players, in connection with a strong-armed robbery in the parking lot of Borders Books on Fordham Boulevard on May 8 around 5 p.m.

Police have charged four men with one count each of common-law robbery. One suspect, Dennis Morris Jenkins, 19, was arrested Tuesday. Police are looking for Ricky Michael Edwards, 18, and Littbarski S. Blackwood, 19, the NCCU football players, as well as Robert Christopher Williams, 19.

According to a police department press release, a man grabbed the victim’s purse and pushed her. Then a second man ran up beside him before they jumped into the back of a 1999 white Lexus with gold trim and a Maryland license plate. Two other men were in the car.

Police ask anyone with information relating to the incident to contact the Chapel Hill Police Department at 968-2760 or Crime Stoppers at 942-7515. Calls to Crime Stoppers are confidential and anonymous. Callers may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to arrest.
