CHCCS increases lunch prices

As a result of rising food and fuel costs, meal prices will increase this year in district cafeterias. Price increases do not affect those students who receive free and reduced-price meal benefits.

Breakfast prices increase by 10 cents. Students previously paid $1.10 for breakfast. They will pay $1.20. Adults previously paid $1.55 for breakfast. They will pay $1.65.

Lunch prices increase by 15 cents. Elementary students previously paid $2.60 for lunch. They will pay $2.75. Secondary students previously paid $2.85 for lunch. They will pay $3.00. Adults previously paid $3.45. They will pay $3.60.
