Soccer documentary to air Sept. 6
Winning Isn’t Everything, a documentary about UNC’s women’s soccer team, will air on the FOX Soccer Channel at 5 p.m. Sept. 6. The documentary by UNC communication studies professor Hap Kindem follows the 2007 team in their attempt to repeat as NCAA national champions. Progress Energy and MP2 Capital, an energy financing company, announced a deal to build a 2.3-megawatt solar-energy facility in Laurinburg.
