Ten students from Phillips Middle School were selected to the Eastern Regional Junior All-State Orchestra on March 1. Students at Ephesus Elementary School recently met their goal of reading 5,000 hours of books this year during their Rock and Read-a-thon. Local rock band Hot Rooster played a short concert for the students on Friday to reward the students for reaching their goal.
