The page also includes images from other sources.

Photographs from the U.S. Air Force Photographic Collection in the National Archives:
(These images originally had a variety of photo number prefixes and suffixes, though all appear to have been numbered in the same series. The Naval Historical Center has added a "USAF" prefix to unify its holdings of Air Force Photo Collection images.)

Photographs from the U.S. Coast Guard Collection in the National Archives:
(These images originally had photo number prefixes of "USCG". The National Archives has changed the number prefixes to "26-G".)

Photographs from the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Still Media Collection:
(During the early 1980s, the Department of Defense took over the central photographic collections of the individual Armed Forces. Beginning in 1982, the DoD central collection's newly accessioned still images were cataloged under a single numbering system. In this system, prefix code "DN" indicates that the photograph originated with the U.S. Navy, "ST" indicates that the original photographic media was a color transparency, and "SC" indicates that the original media was a color negative.)

Photographs from the U.S. Information Agency Collection in the National Archives:

Photographs from the U.S. Marine Corps Collection in the National Archives:
(These images originally had photo number prefixes of "USMC" or "HQ Number". The National Archives has changed the number prefixes to "127-G".)
NOTE: There were significant losses in the Marine Corps Photo Collection prior to its transfer to the National Archives. Accordingly, pictures listed here may NOT be available from the National Archives.
