We have been unable to determine the configuration of twenty-four of the U.S. Navy's WWI era cargo ships. Ships will be moved out of this category as additional information becomes available.

These vessels have been placed in three sub-groups: foreign built, Japanese built (purchased by the U. S. Shipping Board before completion), and American built.
