Abstract: "This study examined the effects of explicit problem formulation and process structuring on group performance and perceptions in a computer-based group decision support system (GDSS) environment. Two treatments and a control condition constituted the experimental design. Two types of problem formulation heuristics defined the treatments: the general heuristic (formulation advocacy), and the combined heuristic (formulation advocacy and a methodology). Baseline (control) groups did not formulate problems explicitly. All groups had GDSS support; there were no manual groups. | MPACT Scores for Murali VenkateshA = 3 Advisors and Advisees Graphgenerating graph, please reload |
