Welcome to NC Darts! Here you'll find all manner of information regarding steeltip darts in the Old North State - league news and stats, tournament information, inter-city play, lists of dart pubs and links galore.
Bookmark this site if you're interested in the sport of darts - check back often to see who else has joined us in our project here. If you are a member of a dart league, big or small, in North Carolina, we'd love to host your league's information here - at no charge to your or your league. If your league already has a Web presence, we're anxious to have your URL listed here as well!
We know that there are many more dart leagues in North Carolina than we're listing here, but these are the ones we're sure exist. To add your league, just contact us!
At a minimum, we want to have a page of contact information for each league listed and a selection of choice dart bars for you to explore in each area of the state.
Some of the state-wide and regional darting associations dedicated to the betterment of the sport in our state will be appearing here as well:
A page chock full of dart links or a much larger international listing of dart sites. (The latter one is a "work-in-progress," so load it often!)
We have a load of dart links here, but if it's a broader search you're in need of, take our Search Engine for a spin.
If we have missed your league, please email us and we'll add your listing (and hopefully a URL!) right away!
Also, we'll be adding several pages of useful information for your perusal like international dart links for leagues, teams, e-zines, software and the like.
All dart leagues and organizations in North Carolina are encouraged to let the world know about your group at this archive. We wish to thank The University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill and Sun Microsystems for the opportunity to bring NC Darts to the World Wide Web. Please read the NC Darts FAQ if you haven't already.
The archivists of NC Darts make every reasonable effort to assure fresh and relevant content on this site but we cannot control content on linked sites. If you find busted links or irrelevant content on linked sites, please email us so that we might correct or eliminate said aggravations and make your Web experience a better one.
We are a content oriented site - most of this site is viewable with terminal browsers such as lynx. We (again) cannot control linked sites so surfer beware.
Comments are always welcome. Thanks for visiting!
Speaking of browsers, it's not often that we take it upon ourselves to recommend software, but we're making an exception in the case of Opera. In these days of bloatware, it's refreshing to find a company producing a product that small, blazingly fast and priced right. Let Netscape, Microsoft (and the US DOJ) fight it out while you are smiling using what could very well become the "browser of choice" in the near future. This may very well turn out to be our one and only software recommendation of the century. We have all but abandoned the use of Navigator and Internet Explorer here at the NC Darts Archives Center and Taco Stand. We think you'll be the next to join us in voting with our feet against the trend of "you need a new hard drive and 16 more megs of RAM to run our worthless software" attitude. Check it out!
