    We’ve got a great resource for you! ibiblio hosts WP Clipart, a collection of over 20,000 public domain images. The collection is searchable directly from the website, and users can also download the complete package that includes an image editor application.

    There are 48 searchable categories with scores of subcategories of photographs, paintings and graphic art ranging in subject matter from[Image no longer available] landscapes to animals, to occupations, to food.

    The images can be saved as PNGs and JPEGs, and are available for use without attribtion (though attribution is encouraged).

    This is a great asset that we hope you will find useful for web publishing, presentations, and reports.

  • Information Professional Conference 2050

    The School of Information and Library Science (SILS) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill celebrates 80th anniversary this year. This milestone will be marked in part by the Information Professional Conference 2050 (IP 2050).

    IP 2050 will bring together professionals, educators employers, and policy makers in information and library science to at the future of these fields.

    The event takes place on June 5, 2012  from 9:00am  to  4:30pm at the William and Ida Friday Center
